Respite
Short coverage so a family caregiver can step away, when the program and the service plan allow it.
What this can include
- An attendant stays with the person who needs care
- The usual family caregiver gets a break
- The visit follows the authorized tasks and hours
Respite depends on the program and the service plan. Ask the case manager which hours can be used this way. This is not an emergency respite line.
Sunshine HomeCare Colorado can provide this support only for the hours and tasks that are authorized. We serve clients throughout Colorado. Caregivers work in the client’s home. The Lakewood address is a mailing address only. Staff do not work there.
