Sunshine HomeCare Colorado provides non-medical home care across Colorado. The tasks and hours come from the authorized service plan. Caregivers work in the client’s home.
Hands-on help, supervision, and reminders for the activities of daily living, within the hours a case manager authorizes.
Personal care is non-medical. It does not replace a doctor, a hospital, or 911.
Household tasks when the person who usually does them cannot keep the home safe and comfortable.
Homemaker service is ordinary household help. It is not home repair, deep cleaning, or skilled medical care.
Skilled tasks that In-Home Support Services can cover when they are on the service plan. An agency nurse confirms the attendant can do those tasks.
Sunshine HomeCare Colorado does not provide emergency medical care and is not a Medicare-certified home health agency. Call 911 in an emergency. Tasks that are not on the service plan are not provided.
Being present with someone at home so the day includes conversation and ordinary activities, not only tasks.
Companionship is arranged as part of authorized personal care. It is not a separate promise of unpaid social visits, and the hours still have to match the service plan.
Short coverage so a family caregiver can step away, when the program and the service plan allow it.
Respite depends on the program and the service plan. Ask the case manager which hours can be used this way. This is not an emergency respite line.
